"Mom and Dad I want to thank you for putting me in hockey all those years ago, it has taught me many life lessons, and all your support and commitment throughout the years is greatly appreciated. Without you putting my schedule ahead of your own, I would have never achieved what I have today. You both have always been there for me, no matter what the situation was and help guide me in the right direction. Mom, thank you for always taking me shopping for new gear even if I didn't need it, and Dad thank you for keeping your cool when you saw the price tags, it meant a lot to me. Mom and Dad, without you, none of this would have been possible, so thank you so much. I love you. Brit, thanks for always helping me improve as a person, also being there for me when I needed someone to talk to. I’m thankful to have a special bond with you and for that I love you. Ashlyn and K, thanks for always being at my games and supporting me, it means a lot. And even though I don't say it a lot, I love both of you." |
