Senior night. Sam Stroud Zach Bogardus Chip Ray Kyle Learn - C Kevin Learn Brandon Magee – C These young men near the end of a long, tough, remarkable and rewarding journey. Those that make it through are really the only ones who can understand. Gotta win. With Richard at the helm, the Seniors got the start and "all" the Dogs got their licks in. Meadville out-shot: 13-11-11=37 1-7-5=13 They out -scored: 3-0 3-2 0-0 They really did not hit until the Warriors got a little chippy at the end. It was a controlled, total-team victory. 1st: 12:56 – Point shot, rebound – Chip from Zach. 8:55 – Billy with his quick slapper, Mikey cleans the rebound. 7:59 – Robert to Dean – forward to Anthony who makes a diving shot count as he slides it under. Great Goal A – 1st Varsity! 2nd: 5:42 – Clayton and Billy drive in out – then out to Mags who guns. 5:14 – Clayton and Billy, right back at ya – bang-bang-bang and Mike gets the “boing.” :25 – Logan in, great pass from Mike across to Drew for the easy back-hander. Dickie ran 4. Saw some nice puck and team-work. Mikey Nic had 2 + 1 Billy was the “play-maker.” Seniors did what Seniors do. One more vs. winless South Park – Thursday back in the South Hills. It is a “must-win” to secure the 2nd seed |
