2005-2006 Season

GOLF OUTING - Tuesday, 5/30/2006

FROM THE HEAD COACH....JAMIE PLUNKETT

The 8th Annual Bulldog Hockey golf outing will be held July 22, 2006. The event is open to the entire community and once again will take place at the Mt. Hope Golf Course. Last year, Jamie Best, Nate Stupiansky, Jeff Gilmore and John Truran won the event and they are back to defend their title.

The 05-06 season was a successful one in many ways. We won 38 games..a 14 game improvement over a year ago. We won our division and finished in second place overall in the PIHL just behind the eventual AAA State Champion, Mt. Lebanon.
Teams are measured by how well they do in the post season, however, and for the second consecutive year, we were eliminated early in the playoffs.

We have a strong nucleus returning next year with all of our top scorers bsck and as a result, we are optimistic about the 06-07 campaign. Our players have started their off season conditioning program and re working hard.

Our golf outing has grown every year due to the tremendous support we receive from friends, former players and their families. the generosity our sponsors have shown is greatly appreciated as we continue to put a first class product on the ice. Without the help we receive from all of you, this would not be possible.

Please join us Saturday, July 22nd at Mt. Hope for a great day of golf and fun.

Sincerely, Jamie Plunkett
