Regular Season The '94-'95 season was a season that saw the Bulldogs struggle during the first half of the season and dominate in the second half of the year. During the first three months of the year, the team battled injuries, inconsistency, scoring slumps and poor team chemistry.

In November, their run of three consecutive CC Invitational titles ended when Germantown Academy downed the `Dogs 7-3. Radim Zelenka torched Jim Brunner for four goals and contributed two assists as the listless `Dogs were no match for Germantown Academy.

One month later the team made its annual team trip to Lake Placid and played poorly going 1-3 in the tournament. Ron Pusz injured his knee and was operated on a week later. The `Dogs continued their losing ways dropping close games to University School and Buffalo St. Francis before Christmas. After losing to St. Ed's in the championship game of the St. Edward tourney, the `Dogs had lost eight games with half the season remaining.

Some people feel the turning point of the season came in the first week of January as the 'Dogs traveled to Pittsburgh to play Bethel Park. Earlier in the week Meadville had just barely squeaked by Harborcreek at home. Relying on a senior class spearheaded by Jim Brunner, Scott Phillis, Jamie Best and Jason Guerrieri, the Bulldogs traveled to Pittsburgh for a game with rival Bethel Park. Playing their most inspired hockey of the season, Meadville routed Bethel Park in front of a packed house at the Mt. Lebanon Recreation Center. This win ignited the team and led by Scott Phillis' record setting scoring, the team never lost a game the rest of the season.
Post-Season The Bulldogs rolled through the western playoffs and won their fourth consecutive Western Final with a 13-1 shellacking of Bethel Park at the Civic Arena.

One week later, the `Dogs were playing their third State Championship at the Skatium in Haverton, PA against Germantown Academy, in a rematch of the 1994 State Final. Only this time Germantown was favored having defeated Meadville 7-3 in the opening round of the Central Catholic Invitational. Meadville won the '89 title and '93 titles at the Skatium, so they felt right at home as they looked to make history.

Just as Germantown came out and took a commanding lead in November, this time the Bulldogs turned the tables and raced to a 4-0 lead and never looked back in a convincing 4-1 win. Jason Guerrieri led the Dogs with two goals and adding single goals were Darron Johnson and Scott Phillis. Phillis won the game MVP for the second year in a row and capped a brilliant scholastic career winning a state championship all four years. The "Quad Squad", as Fred Phillis nicknamed them accomplished something that no Class AAA team has accomplished - Four titles in a row.
